What's new

New features, improvements and fixes in AutoKliq, newest first. Everything listed here is already live.

Latest updates

Already live — they will be bundled into the next version.

  • Improved

Revoking AutoKliq in your Google account deletes the YouTube data we fetched and keeps your own brand guide

    · Once a revocation is confirmed, we delete the channel's video list, performance stats, captions and impressions/CTR history.

    · Your brand guide, rules and projects stay; reconnecting fetches the YouTube data again.

  • Fixed

Editing a painted area of a thumbnail no longer leaves a black box

  • New

The Producer acts on six more pages and can fix faces, batch-edit, retry and run Audience Truth

    · The Brand Guide (rules, look, moodboard, signature, defaults), topic radar and workspace, channel, Audience Truth, Learnings and Assets pages publish their buttons and inputs to the Producer. Paid or deleting clicks always go through a confirm card.

    · New tools: fix a face, edit several thumbnails at once, retry a failed project, run Audience Truth (paid ones only after the approval card), edit the brand look, moodboard notes and signature, link a published video, create a custom skill and tune its signature.

  • New

Upload a PDF script as-is when you make new thumbnails

    · Besides subtitles (SRT), text and Markdown, a PDF is read and used for your thumbnails and titles.

    · File upload now sits right below the brief instead of inside a folded section.

    · A scanned PDF without text tells you why and asks for a text file instead.

  • Fixed

Long text wraps at a readable width on wide screens, and a finished checklist stops covering the page

  • New

Your first moodboard image now guides the look of your brand-consistent thumbnails

  • New

Upload subtitles or a script and thumbnails and titles carry the whole video's message

    · Instead of picking one scene, concepts frame what the whole video says, from different angles (curiosity, proof, twist).

    · What a thumbnail promises is something viewers can recognise early in the video.

    · A line read off the screen or quoted is never presented as the creator's own confession.

  • New

Thumbnails that break a Brand Guide "don't" rule are fixed once automatically

  • New

See whether your recent thumbnails actually kept each Brand Guide rule

  • New

Your own unlisted or private video links now bring their title and description; every channel gets CTR

    · Paste a link to one of your own videos and we read its title and full description, even when it is unlisted or private.

    · Impressions and click-through rate are collected weekly for every connected channel, so we can point out videos whose thumbnail is worth remaking.

    · (Admins first) With the extra YouTube access, you can set a thumbnail on your video directly, undo it, and get your own captions exactly.

  • New

Idea discovery now recommends topics from your reference channels' recent hits

    · Add reference channels by link or @handle. For each one we collect the videos that beat its usual views over the last one to two months and pick the topics worth making now.

    · Each topic shows its evidence videos, why now, and title ideas in your channel's style. One click starts a thumbnail.

    · Big official launches and events are recommended even before any channel has covered them.

  • New

All 55 built-in skills now have an example image

    · Each skill shows one reviewed example image: an illustrative example with a made-up scene, not performance data.

  • Improved

Signed in, the front page takes you straight to Home

  • New

Top bar and inbox: running work, things to check and finished results in one place

    · Running work and your credit balance sit at the top; the bell opens the inbox beside the page (from the bottom on phones).

    · It collects what needs you: failed work, results waiting for your pick, first-pack updates and finished batches.

  • Fixed

A more accurate inbox badge and an easier side panel

    · The low-credit notice no longer holds the badge; it stays in the inbox, and dismissing it hides it for the month.

    · Opening the inbox no longer marks everything as seen, only what it showed.

    · If the inbox can't load, you get a retry instead of an endless spinner.

    · On phones the panel no longer reopens on every page load.

    · The overlay panel works with the keyboard and screen readers, and small text is easier to read.

  • Improved

Projects open on the thumbnails, and pages hold together on small screens

    · The project page now leads with the thumbnails; the brief and content analysis follow below them.

    · Buttons, cards and lists no longer squeeze or break on phones and narrow windows.

    · Thumbnail skills now live under Intelligence.

  • New

Share a project by link and collect votes and comments

    · Create a link from "Share" on a project: anyone with it can view the thumbnails without signing in.

    · Signed-in people can vote, comment and suggest titles or on-image text; you see all of it on your project.

    · You can let collaborators edit images on your credits, and turn the link off or replace it at any time.

  • Fixed

Project cards show only rendered thumbnails, recommended first

  • Fixed

The Producer reports what happened after an approval or confirm card

    · After a card is decided, the resumed turn could end with no new text, leaving the pre-card text ("once you approve, it will be deleted") as the answer. The Producer now ends such a turn on a fixed outcome line (done / declined, nothing spent / failed, with the action label) whenever the model's answer is empty or repeats the pre-card text, also when the model call fails after the action ran. The panel shows the pre-card text muted as superseded.

    · Removing a Look color, mood keyword or moodboard image through the Producer now needs the confirmation card too (it names what is removed; the app cannot undo it). Adds and edits run directly.

  • New

The Producer asks before deleting or publishing anything

    · Removing a Brand Guide rule, deleting a custom skill or publishing one now runs only after you confirm on a card that says what changes, whether the app can undo it, and that it costs nothing. The card uses the same one-time, server-signed token as credit approvals; the Producer can never confirm by itself.

    · New Producer tools: delete a custom skill, publish or unpublish one (unpublish needs no card). Producer only, not on MCP.

    · The /skills delete and publish buttons are Producer targets with the same confirmation.

  • New

The Producer now sees your screen and can navigate, click and ask for you

    · Ask the Producer and it opens the right page, picks concepts or fills in the new thumbnail form for you.

    · Anything that costs credits shows an approval card with the cost and your balance first, and runs only after you approve.

    · Opening a project page no longer starts a generation by itself; it starts only right after you create a new thumbnail.

  • New

A photo guide for person assets, and a primary photo you choose

    · Make the primary (first) photo face the camera, evenly lit, with the face large and the outfit you want in thumbnails; add 2–4 more angles.

    · Thumbnails usually wear what the primary photo wears. “Use as primary” moves any photo to the front.

  • Improved

The menu is now four hubs: Home, Projects, Intelligence and Brand, with a new Home page

    · Eleven menu items are grouped into four hubs; tabs above each page switch between its sections, and old links still open.

    · Home shows your next step, ideas for the next video, your channel's direction and recent work.

  • New

Leave a note on 👍/👎 and it can become a Brand Guide rule for your next thumbnails

  • Fixed

With several people saved, faces are now checked against the person actually in the thumbnail

    · Likeness is checked against photos of the person in the render, so good faces are no longer redrawn and batches finish sooner.

  • Fixed

Image edits: a Title tab first, and only the title changes; face and background stay the original

    · The AI edit dialog opens on a Title tab: the on-image title is found, highlighted and prefilled. Type the new title and only the highlighted area changes; every pixel outside it stays the original's. Paint or erase to adjust the area. When no title is found, the regular Edit tab opens and says so.

    · The Edit tab offers Whole image or Selected area.

    · Whole-image edits now keep the original pixels wherever the edit changed nothing, so faces and skin no longer degrade with every edit.

    · Region edits paste back only what changed inside the region, feathered inside its edge.

  • Fixed

Downloaded thumbnails get readable, unique file names

    · Downloads no longer pile up as "concept-2-v1 (20)": the name now carries the thumbnail's text and its concept and version.

    · Korean names are kept as they are.

  • Improved

Disconnecting a channel now also removes its YouTube data and AutoKliq's access in your Google account

    · Disconnecting deletes the channel's captions and impressions/CTR history and stops the YouTube report jobs AutoKliq created.

    · If it was your last channel, AutoKliq's access is also revoked in your Google account; reconnecting asks for permission again.

  • Fixed

Concept numbers and status no longer cover the thumbnail on project cards

    · The number tabs moved below the image and the status sits next to the date.

  • New

Brand Guide v2: Rules, Look, Signature and Voice

    · Write rules as do and don't, and choose whether each always applies or only to on-brand concepts, and whether it covers text, visuals or both.

    · Your free-form memo still counts; AI can split it into suggested rules you add or dismiss.

    · Look holds your palette, typography and mood; other colors found in your thumbnails appear only as suggestions.

  • New

Use AutoKliq from your AI agent: plan and render thumbnails from Claude or ChatGPT

    · Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex to AutoKliq in Settings → Connect agents. After you connect, paste the starter prompt: your agent checks your channel, plans thumbnails and renders them.

    · Anything that uses credits shows you its cost first and runs only after you approve it. Each connection can ask every time or auto-approve up to a daily limit, and agents can never buy credits.

    · See each connection's recent activity and credits, and disconnect it anytime.

  • New

What's new page: every AutoKliq update in one place

    · Find new features, improvements and fixes, newest first, from the site footer or “What's new” in the app sidebar.

    · A small dot in the sidebar tells you when there is something you have not seen yet.

Version 2026.10.1

  • New

Get a suggested thumbnail set for YouTube's Test & Compare

    · Up to three concepts that differ enough to teach you something, with a one-line how-to for YouTube Studio.

  • New

Technique map: every skill on one map of brand fit × novelty

    · Switch between list and map on the Skills page and filter by what drives the click. Positions are estimates, not measured results.

  • New

Every skill now shows an example, your own thumbnails with it and “Use this skill”

    · A skill's details show up to six of your own thumbnails made with it.

    · “Use this skill” opens a new batch with that skill already selected.

  • New

AutoKliq now spots when you publish one of its thumbnails and links it to the video

    · Each channel sync compares your public videos' thumbnails with the ones you made and links only clear matches.

    · If a link is wrong, link the right concept yourself and it replaces the automatic one.

  • New

Intelligence home suggests where your channel is heading and three thumbnail directions

    · See who your channel is today, who it could become and the gap between them, plus three directions you can generate right away and a first test to run.

  • New

Brand Guide: see and edit every preference that shapes your thumbnails in one place

    · Always-on rules, step-by-step rules, Brand Kit, Brand DNA, tone and language all live under “Brand Guide” in the sidebar.

    · Your Brand DNA edits take priority over the analysis from the next batch on and survive a re-analysis.

  • New

Add or remove reference photos on an asset

    · Keep up to six photos on an asset; regenerate after a change and the new set is used.

    · “Regenerate” shows progress right away and tells you why if it fails.

  • New

Six concepts per batch, from on-brand to experimental

    · Get two on-brand, two creative and two experimental concepts in one batch and compare them side by side.

    · Each concept is labelled with where it sits on that range.

    · Brand analysis now also learns from your recent uploads.

  • New

Mark as many concepts as you like with “Use this”

    · Click again to take a mark back; concepts you leave unmarked are no longer learned as rejected.

    · After a thumbs-down you can pick a reason in one tap.

  • New

Connect your channel and get three free thumbnails for your latest video

    · Right after you connect, AutoKliq makes three thumbnails for your latest video at its own cost and shows them next to the one you use today.

    · No uploads yet? Tell us your next video's topic in one line.

  • New

Redeem coupon codes for credits in Settings

    · A coupon link opens the form with the code already filled in; nothing is redeemed until you confirm.

  • Improved

Pinned skills shape the four creative and experimental concepts; the two on-brand ones keep your format

    · Your channel's own look stays in every batch, even when you try a new skill.

  • Improved

Concepts appear as soon as their image is ready

    · Images show before the final checks finish, marked “Final checks…”.

    · When every concept trips on the same issue, the batch no longer keeps adding more, so it finishes sooner.

  • Improved

Each thumbnail now shows just three short points

    · A one-line summary, why this one, and the suggested title and keywords; everything else is folded under Details.

  • Fixed

Fixed new channels that never synced, so their first thumbnail pack never started

    · Channels now sync from your uploads list even when YouTube's search limit is used up, and channels that were missed are retried.

  • Fixed

Thumbnail text is now always big enough to read in the feed

    · Thumbnails whose text is too small to read are no longer delivered, and suggested headlines are kept short so they can be set large.

    · Headlines you type yourself are never shortened; they are set large over more lines.

  • Fixed

Pricing now reflects six-concept batches and the real generation time (about 15 minutes)

    · Each plan shows how many batches its monthly credits really cover.

  • Fixed

Faces in thumbnails look more like you

    · Faces are drawn from your real photo plus a clearer face reference, and a face that does not look like you is repaired and checked again.

  • Fixed

Clear messages instead of raw technical errors when something fails

    · You see the reason in plain words: not enough credits, content policy, busy servers and so on.
